The Viscosity Modelling Project used four bitumen samples and six diluents (5 conventional, 1 synthetic crude) that were representative of the different production regions and methods in Alberta to create separate blends for viscosity analysis at multiple temperatures.

672 data points were measured on 168 blends. The Project is completed and the final report, including the CCQTA Blending Model, is available to all CCQTA members.
